At 'Dog & Pony Shows' like this, who's the dog and who's the pony?

Happy 5th anniversary, Warhawks! Happy 4,000 US dead.
Where's Admiral Fallon? Why didn't they want to have him testify?
Come to think of it, why not have Condaleeza Rice and Presidents Cheney and Bush testify? Obviously, we can't seriously talk about getting out in an election year.
The plan, tone things down between August and the election, with hopes that it will help McCain. Then, leave it for the next guy (or gal) to clean up.

The lazy babysitter

This one was really complicated. Each flame is a different layer in PhotoShop. I feel like I didn't finish the donkey well enough. Once again I stole from myself- Bush is from an earlier cartoon, although I tweaked his face a little in PhotoShop. It took forever to find a chair that I liked. Daryl Cagle is not just a cartoonist, but a syndicate editor and he complains about aspiring cartoonists who send him works with lots of photos or clipart included. All these things had me feeling pretty bad about this cartoon, but I got an email from a former student who went to Georgetown and now works on K street in DC and she told me tha tshe thought it was so funny that she shared it with a bunch of her friends. Maybe it is the thought that counts after all.
